Conversational Hypnosis for Sales & Marketing

Conversational hypnosis, similar to NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is a method of influencing people by using language in subtle ways. There is no trance stage which is usually associated with hypnosis and so it allows you to influence people without them even being aware of it.

A very basic form of this would be to say to someone "Do you want to sign this contract with my pen or do you want to use your own pen"? So long as the person is deciding which pen to use they are not thinking about not signing. Of course most people would see through this. However, there are subtle ways of using language that are not so obvious.

These methods are tools. They can be used for good - to enable people to overcome fears, phobias and prejudices - or for selfish or malicious purposes - for instance to sell something to someone that you know they don't really want or need.
